Christine Nyirjesy Bragale, ABC, Principal of CB Communications, is known as a global communications strategist passionate about inspiring action, influencing public policy and driving revenue growth through authentic storytelling and thought leadership. The two tenets of her approach are alignment to strategic objectives and agility to respond to the opportunity (or crisis) of the day.
With deep experience in impact communications, media relations and crisis communications, Christine has led in-house teams driving brand strategy, media relations, crisis communications, digital communications, content strategy and storytelling, media advocacy, internal communications and events. Her decades-long career in public relations includes leadership roles at FHI 360, the USAID Partnerships Incubator (operated by The Kaizen Company), the News Literacy Project, Mercy Corps, Goodwill Industries International, TASC, a national security company, and Weber Merritt, a boutique public affairs agency.
Christine and her teams have garnered multiple industry awards for communication and marketing campaigns, media relations, and print and video content—most recently in 2024, best branding/rebranding campaign of the year and honorable mention for team of the year from Ragan Communications.
Christine spent the first part of her career as a television news producer and editor, including at ITN, France 2 and The Associated Press, where she helped launch the global news agency’s television arm, APTN, and directed its news gathering operations in the Americas. As a member of the White House, Capitol Hill and United Nations press corps, she covered politics, diplomacy and other major international news stories.
Christine holds a bachelor’s degree in history and a certificate in Latin American studies from Georgetown University, in addition to professional certificates in digital marketing from Columbia Business School and Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management. She also holds certification as an accredited business communicator (ABC) from the International Association of Business Communicators.
